Hannah Rose Kessler is the next new signing to be announced to the independent label Reckless Yes ahead of 2021 music.
Following on from self-released music including 2018 album Invincible Beautiful Dangerous Hannah Rose Kessler has joined the roster at Reckless Yes ahead of planned releases in 2021.
A multi-faceted songwriter and performer most recent single I Really Wanna showcased just one aspect, with a sultry retro feel and like the earlier album played confidently with melody and theme. That album showcased well the influences on Kessler and was what first sparked the interest of the label. There are big legacies and single visions to look up to with PJ Harvey here, Patti Smith there – influences which continue to shine through on the new music.
Of joining Reckless Yes Kessler said, “I feel really grateful for the support of Sarah and Pete. Working with them has already motivated me to up my songwriting game. It’s propelling and exciting to know they are behind me and expecting stuff from me!”

“If you love P.J. Harvey’s ‘Down By The Water’ period or if you can imagine Kate Bush bursting on to the scene now with a musical palette containing everything from hip hop to folk music you’re half way there. Her album is going to be glorious.”
