Leeds three-piece Nervous Twitch has joined Reckless Yes ahead of the release of their next album.

Nervous Twitch were one of the first bands to take to the stage when Reckless Yes started out in live promotion back in 2016 and working with them on releases has been on the label’s wishlist ever since. As they now join the roster that wish has come true.
While there is a new album in the works, their first releases with Reckless Yes will be the digital reissue of their first three albums. Get Back In Line (2015), Don’t Take My TV (2016) and I Won’t Hide (2017) have all had physical and Bandcamp releases but will now be found across other digital platforms including Spotify and Apple Music.
On signing to the label the band said, “We’re looking forward to working with Reckless Yes for our next album release and excited to see what our future with them brings. We have been following the label since we first played gigs with them a few years back and are big fans of bands they work with, such as Fightmilk, Godno!, Chorusgirl and Panic Pocket.”
Pete Darrington, co-founder of Reckless Yes, said, “It’s an absolute joy to finally welcome Nervous Twitch to the RY family, I’ve been a massive fan of theirs since I first saw them live in 2017 but they were making records for someone else back then. Fortunately for us, as soon as they changed their relationship status to ‘single’ it was a no-brainer for us to snap them up and even better – the forthcoming album is brilliant!”
Sarah Lay, co-founder of Reckless Yes, said, “Nervous Twitch were one of the first bands we worked with when we started out as Reckless Yes, putting on live shows. The energy they gave in each show, and their DIY spirit made us fall in love with them just as much as the music and we’ve long hoped we’d get to work with them on releases.
“That hope has turned to pure excitement on hearing their next album, and on welcoming them into the Reckless Yes family. We can’t wait to bring the release to members and out generally and share a set of songs which are recognisably Nervous Twitch, distilled to perfection.”
The reissues begin with Get Back In Line which will be available to stream and download from 26 June 2020 – pre-save it on digital platforms here. Reckless Yes label members will have a download of all three albums included in their subscription.
Label membership for 2020 is still open and for a small fee you can make sure you get everything released this year. It’s a great way to discover your new favourite band while making sure you support artists in a way which sees them treated and paid fairly. More on memberships here.
