Fightmilk has released anthemic new single I’m Starting To Think You Don’t Even Want To Go To Space digitally via Reckless Yes today (20 March).
The track is their first new music since the release of debut album ‘Not With That Attitude’ at the end of 2018, and also the first to be taken from their forthcoming second album due in autumn 2020.
Making it a Track of the Week God Is In The TV said it is, “”a glorious slab of grunge guitar, with pop at its core that harks back to happier times and hopes for a better future” while on their own Track of the Week listing For The Rabbits said, “Musically, this feels at once a continuation and a bold next step, the driving power-pop of their debut, re-imagined into something leaner, rougher and more melodically marvellous than ever before.”
Premiering, XS Noize said, “The track initially takes a quieter approach to their power-pop sound, but soon blasts off with louder and angrier guitars and a soaring chorus” while Get In Her Ears said it had, “an infectious pop melody, crunchy guitars and naturally, a cosmic vibe”, and Traveller’s Tunes wrote of, “infectious vocals, storming of the gates guitars, and lyrical wit and charm”.

With a cancelled launch show the band, like many others, moved their gig online and performed a full set on FB Live.
During the set they took donations which will be split between intended venue The Victoria, Markestall Studios where the broadcast took place, and the band.
You can still watch again and donate via PayPal (fightmilkisaband@gmail.com).
