The new single from LIINES, On and On, will be released digitally on 24 May 2019 – you can pre-save it now on Spotify to make sure it drops straight into your library and playlists.
Chris Hawkins premiered the track on BBC 6 Music early breakfast on 17 May (listen again here from) and the response so far to the track has been amazing, including Loud Women making it track of the day saying, “It’s a frenetic but ultimately satisfying 2 and a bit minutes of the driving dissonance that have made us weak at the knees for LIINES”.
The track – the first new music since last year’s debut album Stop-Start – is once again produced by Paul Tipler (Idlewild, Elastica, Stereolab) and is a show opener for the band. Zoe McVeigh (guitar / vocals) said, “We’ve been opening with On and On for a while. It sets the scene for us because it’s stripped back and has an urgency we want to come across with our music. We’re really excited to get it out there after a busy few months supporting Sleaford Mods and after a year of promoting our debut album, Stop-Start.”
