We’ve just about recovered from our third outing of Six Impossible Things – another amazing night in Derby!
We were really pleased to welcome our very own LIINES as part of their tour for the release of their single (buy it on pure white 7″ with free download here) as well as Leeds pop punkers Nervous Twitch. Alongside them and completing our four band line up were Derby bands The Hudson Super 6 and Pet Crow.
This was the first time we’d used a dedicated music venue to run the night and it was just ace to fill the Hairy Dog’s second room – not just for our night but because it’s still a thrill to see a sell-out show in Derby.
Cake was eaten, the zine was forgotten (but read it online here), the hat and crown were noticeable for their absence, all the bands got paid and people seemed to have had a nice night. We LOVED it.
A big thank you to all the bands for playing, the Hairy Dog for hosting (especially Marty for ace sound), Neil Johnson for amazing photographs and to everyone who came down and partied with us. You are all ACE.
Let’s do it again – in fact, let’s make it a Very Merry Reckmas!
