Japan Review – Juno (22 March 2019)
The debut EP from Japan Review is set for a limited CD and digital release on 22 March 2019. Stream in full and pre-order here.
This is lo-fi in sound yet expansive in scope with an experimental approach to electro and nugaze sounds.
Reckless Yes co-founder Pete Darrington said, “I think I was less than 20 seconds into the first Japan Review track when I knew I wanted to work with this project. More than just a nu-gaze band, the mix of electronica and hazy glide guitar conjures images of a dark sparse near future of Blade Runner proportions.
“Main man Adam together with his collaborators is architecting soundscapes that will take your breath away. 21st Century post-rock genius -reinventing the guitar in a way that deserves to reach a wider audience.”

Panic Pocket – Never Gonna Happen (12 April 2019)
The debut EP from Panic Pocket is set for a limited CD and digital release on 12 April 2019. Stream the first track and pre-order here.
Reckless Yes co-founder Sarah Lay said, “As soon as I heard Panic Pocket it was love. Melodically super catchy and with the best of ’60s girl group charm, lyrically laden with wit and intelligence. It’s been even better to see them get praise from the likes of Get In Her Ears, For The Rabbits, and Grrls Like Us right from the get-go.
“When we heard the tracks for the EP we didn’t have to think very long before saying a huge YES to them joining the family. The four tracks are perfect indiepop and if you loved Fightmilk’s debut last year you’re going to be equally taken with this.”
Pre-order the EP here. There will be a free entry launch gig at the Victoria Dalston on 10 April and you can get the details right here.
