Since we said goodbye to The Rumble we have been missing our weekly hit of sharing our favourite new tracks and bands with you. So, from today we’ll be bringing you Listen Friday: a selection of tracks on the Reckless Yes office stereo and that we think you should be listening to.

Listen Friday – 27 January 2017
Dactylion – So Easy (demo)
We love this nu-gaze band from Derby and so were thrilled to hear a first demo online this week. Currently recording an EP they are also announced to play our next Six Impossible Things on 24 March.
SeiSui – A Toast To All Our Ships At Sea
Bit of a mysterious nu-gaze duo who dropped their first track onto Bandcamp on New Year’s Day and have been described as a mix of My Bloody Valentine and Cocteau Twins.
Dystopian Future Movies – NYD
One of the bands that inspired us to set up as Reckless Yes and still a band we absolutely adore. Looking forward to new material from this Doomgaze band soon.
Pink Shiny Ultrablast – Grandfeathered EP
We played this Russian dream pop band a fair bit on The Rumble and we’re still digging them hard.
Goddesses
Currently working on a new EP we loved this Derby psych rock band’s debut long player in 2016. This track taken from that self-titled record.
Galaxie 500 – Snowstorm
Rounding up today’s selection with a classic track from Galaxie 500.
