Our artists

Since our first release in 2016 to taking a hiatus in 2023 the Reckless Yes roster included more than 30 artists and more than 100 releases.

After returning in 2025 with compilation Among The Wildflowers we are looking to releases in 2026 and beyond with a refreshed roster.

Reckless Yes roster

Our current roster is:

Chorusgirl / DUCK / Electric Pets / Feral Five / Grawl!x / Tiger Island

Chorusgirl

Chorusgirl

Pop noir, jangle and surf, channelling 60s girl groups through 80s alternative/new wave – Chorusgirl was described by NARC as “like a sunny day viewed through a storm cloud”.

After releasing their self-titled debut on the iconic FortunaPOP! label they signed to Reckless Yes for the follow up Shimmer and Spin (2018) and third album Colapso Calypso (2022).

DUCK

DUCK

Wonky synth/guitar noisepop from Sheffield DUCK has been described by Gigantic as carrying forward “the spirit of riot grrl by decrying homophobia, prejudice and sexism with lo-fi beats, punk guitars and wonky synth-pop”.

The band signed to Reckless Yes for the vinyl release of their debut album There Are No More Normal Conversations Anymore in 2020.

Electric Pets

Electric Pets

Electric Pets are a four piece from Derby that weave a rich tapestry of mature dark-pop with a garage rock swagger. Unashamedly drawing influence from the foundations of rock n’ roll history and framing it firmly with a twenty-first century styling, Electric Pets are the sleazy dive-bar band you wish were providing the soundtrack to a Quentin Tarantino movie that doesn’t exist yet.

They signed to Reckless Yes for the release of EPs Rhinoceros and Elephant before releasing a run of singles through the label’s imprint Surface Noise from spring 2023.

Feral Five

Feral Five

Feral Five make future-facing electro-punk, featured on BBC 6, Radio X and in film. “It draws you in and then slaps you in the head….. Brilliantly done” – Gideon Coe, BBC Radio 6 Music. “Groundbreaking” – Louder Than War. “Datapop earworm” PRS M Magazine. “Blondie meets the Automaton from Metropolis. Techno pop visionary, 3D releasing, disco cyber-punk duo” – Rocklands TV.

They released debut album Truth Is The New Gold through Reckless Yes in 2023.

Grawl!x

Grawl!x

Formed around multi-instrumentalist Maria Machin Derby’s Grawl!x was described by Louder Than War as being “Dream pop should sound this way: beautiful, assured, intriguing and resonant”.

Their first release with Reckless Yes – 2018’s Appendix – was the conclusion of a trilogy and they have gone on to release single Epicene, and albums Peeps (2020) and Spring (2022) with the label.

Tiger Island

Tiger Island by Danny Payne

Tiger Island are a five-piece garage-punk band from the Leeds area fusing the rock ‘n roll spirit of bands like Hot Snakes and the Murder City Devils with the fuzzy synthed-up power-pop of the B-52s and the Cars.

Following self-releasing debut EP Looka Looka Looka in 2024, they featured on Reckless Yes compilation Among The Wildflowers in 2025 with track Bad Women. The band signed to Reckless Yes in 2026 for the release of their debut album Let’s Go Out, which you can order on vinyl, CD and digital here.
