Ahead of the release of album Appendix in early 2018 the Grawl!x directed and soundtracked film Fleeting will premiere this weekend.
With music from the album it’ll be the first chance to hear tracks from the new release – the final part of James Machin’s trilogy on grief – when Fleeting shows at QUAD Derby on Saturday 18 November 2017. To mark the night the showing will be followed by a live set from Grawl!x at Bustler Derby. We’re excited. You should be excited too.
The full album – Appendix – will be released digitally and on ltd special edition vinyl (we’re finalising this so can’t tell you in what way it is special yet) in Spring 2018 and you can hear single Don’t Do It To Yourself from tomorrow ahead of a full digital release next year. The single features the vocals of Dani from Pet Crow making this a properly proper Reckless Yes do.
In the meantime we’re releasing this lyric video for single b-side Empathy. From the opening this has the fragility and strength, the quiet and raging emotions of a classic Grawl!x track. We told you it was time to get excited.
Fleeting shows at QUAD Derby tomorrow night at 7pm. It’s also the Christmas Lights Switch On in town – we like to think they’re lighting up the city just for us – so watch out if you wanna park, might be busy. Full details of the whole night here.
Follow Grawl!x on Facebook and Twitter for latest on the album, and hear his previous works on Bandcamp and Spotify.
