We announced late last year that we’d be working with Nottingham duo You Want Fox and it’s with great excitement we can share the first bit of news on this.
The band will release single Liar Liar digitally via Reckless Yes Records on 10 March 2017.
Mixing the big dirty riffs of QOTSA, the dynamic of Royal Blood, and the pop hooks of Taylor Swift this is a track which will be stuck in your head and your heart for weeks.
The track is accompanied by a new video – giving a retro pop look to this ultra modern rock single – you’ll be able to see this soon (we know, we’re terrible teases).
Speaking about signing the duo to Reckless Yes Pete said, “We’ve been hunting You Want Fox for a while having fallen in love with their blend of killer riffs and unashamedly garage pop vocal melodies,” he added, “this new single exceeds all our expectations.”
The pair were previously part of punk band The Smears but with You Want Fox they have developed a new playing style and a blistering garage pop sound.
